Are you a fan of the movie Solaris (2002)? Then this A4 art print of an original watercolour painting created by me is the perfect gift for you or any sci-fi movie lover.
"We don't have to think like that anymore"
This tribute to the beautiful Rheya in Solaris (2002) as played by Natasha McElhone and starring George Clooney. This sci-fi story, originally written by Stanislaw Lem, touches on themes about what it means to be human, through our memory, love, loss and relating to one another. This painting was originally done in a mixture of watercolour, gouache, pencils, pen and gilded flakes. I wanted to capture the haunting beauty of Chris's deceased wife, who may or may not be a replica or alien returned to him in human form through his memories. If you love this film as much as me, you'll love this artwork.
Note this is a PRINT ONLY and not an original piece of art. It is A4 (21 x 29.7cm) and UNFRAMED.
